1. Cleveland Clinic: Power Management solution Raritan Power IQ

Cleveland Clinic over the last two years has been transitioning to their new level 3 Datacenter and were looking for a power solution that permitted both PDU and receptacle level management. The new Datacenter required both single phase and three-phase power solutions and would house roughly 300 PDU’s and 3600 receptacles. Raritan’s intelligent PDU series as well as Power IQ software provided Cleveland Clinic with 3 key abilities

  1. First, was the quality and warranty offered on Raritan’s PDU’s and software providing Cleveland Clinic with security in their selection.
  2. Second Power IQ’s management ability provided a seamless transition from their old Datacenter to the new location
  3. Receptacle level management providing the ability to control power consumption within the Datacenter.

2. Cephalon Pharma: Management of 500+ servers across multiple locations solution Raritan Command Center

Cephalon has two main locations containing a total of around 500 Windows based servers between the two locations. By deploying a Raritan Command Center at its Headquarter location in West Chester PA, as well as a mass of Dominion KX switches, D.Y. Nye Co allowed the Cephalon IT administrators to systematically manage all of their servers as well as their staff all from a central location. In addition to server and staff management the Raritan Command Center offers users the ability to incorporate Virtual Servers, PDU’s, iLo/RILO boards, DRAC cards, Serial devices, and Blade Centers, making it a feature rich product that can grow with the organization and provide terrific ROI.

3.     Reed Technology: Monitor power consumption for factory solution Envrionet

Reed Technology desired a system that would allow its facility managers to monitor and achieve the power consumed by its factory in order to make strategic tax decision by its financial department. By deploying the Geist’s Enviornet solution along with a variety of power meter’s D.Y. Nye Co. provided Reed Technology with an IP accessible system that offered both a graphical and table view of the factory’s consumed power. Moreover because Environet is programming language agnostic (Modbus, LON, BacNet, SNMP, etc...) Reed Technology has the option to include other devices under the management of Environet such as HVAC, UPS’s, Generators, Leak Management systems, Temperature & Humidity monitors, etc…
