 Video Input Cards

 

Once a user has determined which output card he or she will use to construct their video wall, they will need to determine which input card will best fit their needs. Similar to the output cards Datapath's video input cards are also classified on a hierarchy of capabilities, and are designed to work with specific output cards.

VIM-4 & VIM-16

The Video Input Modules (VIM) are a designed pass-through device allowing users to pass standard definition video signals to the output cards via an internal ribbon connection. The VIM 4 uses BNC or RCA connections and is able to accommodate either 4-standard signals or 2-S-video signals. The VIM-16 is similar to the VIM-4, however it allows for 16-possible inputs via BNC connections

  • VIM4  has 4 BNC or RCA connectors mounted on a PC back panel for feeding composite video or S-Video to the iH4-PRO/DIG

 

 

  

VIM-16

  

 

  • VIM16 is a video input module designed specifically for connecting 16 analog or 8 -S-Video inputs to your Vantage4-PRO.
  • The VIM16 requires a vacant mounting position on the PC backplane but does not require a PCI slot as it does not plug into the motherboard.
     

 
 

VISION SWITCH16 AND VISION SWITCH-32
The Vision Switch products are unique for three reasons:
  1. First they can both input and output video signals
  2. Second they are a crosspoint switch which allows them to route their inputs to one or many outputs
  3. Third the Vision Switch products can function either with the Datapath output cards or as a stand alone unit

  • Windows application program for simple switch set-up. Save and recall switch settings

MOSAIC CARDS

The Mosaic cards are intended to offer the users both high capacity and flexibility when it comes to integrating external video sources. All three models pass video to the output cards outside of the PCI bus, minimizing the CPU overhead. Moreover, Mosaic cards when combined with their appropriate output cards permit the user to display multiple video sources on the same display.
